Francis (Frank) Cumming 1861 - 1905

Francis Miller was the third son of John and Eliza Cumming 1861- 1905. He was born at Terinallum and educated at The Geelong College and The University of Melbourne. He was married to Anne McKenzie who died on the 6th of August 1898. He was referred to as Frank rather than Francis and had some success in racing circles where he went by the name F.T. Forrest. His horse, Clean Sweep, won the 1900 Melbourne Cup after starting at 20 to 1. He was on the committee of the VATC. see here.  The owner's prize was 4.397 gold sovereigns
